Why Rush?
There are many reasons for one to rush and join Phi Delta Theta, but but we wanted to bring you a diverse and first-hand response. Thus, we asked several alumni and brothers why they joined Phi Delta Theta and here were their responses:
Christopher Simeone '05
"The decision to pledge Phi Delta Theta was an invaluable life enhancing experience. Very quickly, I learned to live and work with men of different backgrounds and personalities. I had my first experience managing a living organization with real money, real people and real issues. The learning curve involved in my time in the fraternity and the preparation it had on my life after college was certainly on parity with the overall education I received at MIT. And in the end - I'd have to say, most importantly - I acquired some of the very best friends I'll ever have. I have also had the great opportunity to become close to many Phi Delts from other chapters across North America through Phi Delta Theta's several conferences. I remain in constant contact with my fraternity brothers from across the country, both for social purposes and professional exchange. To me, there is no question that Phi Delta Theta is a fraternity for life."
